John Samuelian, Principal	Tim Bryner, Assistant Principal

Mr. Samuelian is a long-time employee of Waukegan Public Schools. He taught at North Elementary, West Elementary and Jefferson Middle School He was one of the founding teachers at Abbot Middle School. He served as the assistant principal at Abbott for eight years and then became principal in 2004.

Mr. Samuelian said that he has always wanted to be an administrator and is pleased that he has reached his goal. The best thing about his job is that he is able to help students be successful in school. The worst thing is having to suspend students for not doing their job as students. He hopes that all the students do the best they can and go on to a successful career at the high school. His favorite thing about Abbott is that "We're a family here."
