We’re turning 55 and going to cruise the Bahamas - but we need to act now For our 55th birthday, plans have been made to cruise to the Bahamas on Carnival Cruiseline’s remodeled cruiseship Sensation The Cruisin’ flyer can by found at Cruise Flyer and Forms or by going to our sister web site at http://whs1973.com/55-and-cruisin/. This outing is open to all members of the WHS Class of 1973 as well as others interested in joining us on this fantastic trip (including the WHS Classes of 1972 and 1974). So spread the word and share the fun. Deposits are due NOW to secure our space for the 2010 Cruise which takes place April 18 thru 22, 2010. So please don’t put it off because space is limited at the rates we have. Prior to the Cruise, Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17, 2010 have been set up for those who want to arrive before the Cruise to play golf, go sightseeing, or just relax. Hotel arrangements have been made at the Omni Hotel Property at Champion Gates Resort as well as a second property, the Gaylord Hotel in the event the rooms at the Omni get booked up. Check out the hotel amenities including the Resort Spa online. So even if you're not a golfer, there are plenty of fun and entertaining things to do (see www.orlando.com for area information). Separate booking and pricing apply. On Sunday, April 18, 2010 we set sail for the Bahamas from Orlando (Port Canaveral), FL with our first stop in Freeport, Bahamas, famous for its golf courses, international duty-free shopping, seamingly endless white sandy beaches for a day of fun, and beach activities. Next, we depart for Nassau, Bahamas where we stay overnight (on the cruiseship), so you’ll have time to experience the island’s cafes, nightclubs, and hotel extravaganzas. Hotel reservation information, and forms, will be posted as soon as we have the booking reference number setup for our group (should be the week of November 10, 2008).
