About Our School

Daniel Webster Middle School first opened its doors in 1956. Through the years the building population has continued to grow and become more diverse. Webster Middle School currently has 615 students.

We celebrate the diversity of our school and we continue to focus on creating a learning community at Webster. We are beginning our transition at Webster Middle School toward becoming a true learning community over the next few years by embracing the basic tenets of middle school philosophy with our focus on providing our young people with an interesting, encouraging and caring environment that supports the highest level of student academic achievement. Our school mission and vision guides work and planning at Daniel Webster Middle School.

At Webster Middle School, we have a highly qualified staff that is currently utilizing “best practices” as the core of all our instructional and curricular decisions. Our students have a dress code to engender a professional atmosphere throughout the school. We offer students encore classes that include band, orchestra, choir, general music, and technology at each grade level in addition to the traditional curriculum. Channel One News and our student-directed, produced and performed Webster Wildcat News are broadcast throughout the building daily.

Daniel Webster Middle School received national recognition as a 2009 NASP Breakthrough School!
